The story of TAN Stories began around seven years ago in Tabriz, in a small workshop in the Kolkatechi district — a place where designing, making, and experimenting with metal gradually evolved into the language of a brand. TAN comes from Tabriz, a city deeply rooted in art, craftsmanship, and making. From the beginning, the TAN studio was simultaneously a workshop, a showroom, and a space for learning. Design, production, and education have always grown alongside one another.
A few years later, with Shiva Seyedi’s move to Tehran, a new chapter for TAN began. A new workshop was established in the heart of the city, allowing the brand to continue its journey in a new environment while preserving its handcrafted nature and workshop-driven approach.

Shiva Seyedi

Shiva Seyedi, born in Tabriz in May 1989, is the designer and founder of TAN Stories. She studied Islamic Art with a focus on Metalwork at Tabriz Islamic Art University and continued her education in jewelry making through independent courses in Iran, followed by further training under established masters in Istanbul. She later founded her own studio in Tabriz — a space where design, making, and education came together, eventually becoming TAN Stories.
For Shiva, jewelry design cannot be separated from the act of making. Understanding metal, weight, surface, and the relationship between an object and the body is an essential part of the design process itself.

TAN Stories

TAN Stories is the story of jewelry on the body.
A story of handcrafted silver pieces designed not simply to decorate the body, but to form a relationship with it. In the world of TAN, the body is part of the design. A piece becomes complete when it meets the skin, moves with the body, and becomes part of everyday life.
Rather than decoration alone, TAN explores form, volume, weight, surface, and the relationship between metal and the body. From Tabriz to Tehran, one thing has remained constant:
Hand. Metal. Form. Body.
TAN Stories is not the story of jewelry as something merely to own; it is the story of jewelry as something to live with.
